Hi i just found this website but im in 11th grade and i am doing a literature extended essay, i wanted to do a book on Dostoyevsky but just found out that if ur not doing a comparitve essay it has to be a non translated book so i have no idea what to do it on! Im thinking lolita but im not sure if that is a good book to do it on. Maybe too difficult?

Hi! I did my individual oral (IO) for English and really messed it up due to a panic attack and constant stress. I couldn’t remember anything, wasn’t engaged and generally struggled through the whole recording. Before doing the exam, I had prepped really good and had a great question. I was predicted a 6 or 7, but that clearly won’t be the result. Therefore I am wondering whether it is possible to redo or redraft it. The school is refusing, but is there any other way. I really want to prove myself.

I really struggle with math and didn't prioritise studying for it during the first year. What do you recommend and can I pass (get a 4) studying for only the Core topics? I also have a math test in around 3 weeks, can I teach myself most of the calculator stuff before then hahaha

hey. im planning on making study groups for IB students so that we could help each other because im currently struggling and have a feeling that many other people also need help. Im currently in IB1 and take these subjects: HLs: Physics, Design tech, Arabic B. SLs: English Lang + Lit, Math AI, Economics. I'm trying to think of an EE question for psychology. So far my most interesting one is kinda ok but I though about doing something like: The efficacy of CRISPR and developing the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. I'm not entirely sure if there's even good research into this. I'm trying to find some studies (there are some CRISPR mouse studies with Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s or maybe even Fragile X Syndrome?) but I don't really know what to find to be honest. I need to figure out if my EE has enough substance or can be done and it's due in 3 days :(

Hello! I am applying for unis in the US and Canada. I just finished the first semester of my senior year. This second semester will be all about finals. I am taking Physics, Math AA and English A lang lit at HL; and taking Spanish A lang lit, chem and geography at SL. Overall, I'm just looking to someone to talk to who understands the pressures of IB. We've all had experiences where the people we talk to are absolutely horrible at keeping up conversations, and they're exhausting to engage with. But I've noticed that IB students are generally immune to this problem. We're all great at talking! So it would be cool if we could connect and have some meaningful conversations about IB and life in general.

As a matter of some importance, Apple Jacks are world class and I would rather not hear a solitary piece of defamation against the Apple and the Jack. Second, each and every cereal in the S and A levels are great with and without milk, which put it at the top. B level oats are great however aren't extremely adaptable, C level isn't quite as good or significant as B level, D level is simply unremarkable cereal, E level is rubbish yet agreeable oat, and F level is absolute poop grain. Hello Fellow IB Students! I am planning on doing my EE on sport and psychology, or Spanish and psychology. I do Spanish, Sport and Psychology at Higher Level. Hey I'm still a bit confused about the procedure to follow in regards to where and how retakes for IAs are carried out. I know that with exam retakes you can sit them anywhere as long as they accept you. My question is: is it possible to redo your IAs in one school and the sit your retakes in another? Thank you!

Hey guys, hope you’re all doing well! I just got done with DP1 and have a boatload of things to cover during the summer. Considering it’s highly recommended to start on the IAs and EE during this time, how should I divide my time?
