Dazed&Confused
I am sooooo freaking nervous now, I feel like throwing up whenever i think about the ib.I know! There isn't even a way you can predict your grades because they are being marked by someone you don't know which makes it impossible to be sure! Good luck! 1 Reply
BrianHQ
Freaking nervous, but I just try to evade myself with anything hahaha. Two years thinking in IB, and now trying to forget it for at least this days, so ironic! Well... Luck to all, let's ace it! Megamind
Why do the IB Coordinator's get the result 24 hours earlier? 1 Reply
Megamind
I would like to know: if results are published exactly at 06-July-2015 12:00:00 GMT , or is that only an approximate where results are released online few time earlier? 12:15:00 GMT is what it shows on my IBIS page. 15 minutes can seem like forever especially when you're waiting for your grades 1 Reply
IbTrojan
Yes, completely nervous now. I actually forgot that they come out in...TWO DAYS until I read this post. But now I'm a little worried. I just keep visualizing my grade, hoping it's what I need it to be. As for how I'm dealing with the nerves, like I said I completely forgot until now but I have summer school to take my third science so I'm quite consumed in Physics right now. 2 Reply

ketone
I think the IB don't want too many people entering the website at the same time. This might cause it to crash. 1 Reply

BrianHQ
When are the results published? Wasn't it at 5 July 12:00 GMT? According to this: http://ibo.org/en/programmes/diploma-programme/assessment-and-exams/getting-results/ Edit: I misread the website. I said nothing Edited July 5, 2015 by BrianHQ Reply

insomniac writer
What's freaking me out the most is that IB coordinators got our results 35 minutes ago. Apparently this is done so that they can call the students who failed the diploma, but I'm not entirely sure if that's the reason. 1 Reply

insomniac writer
Why do the IB Coordinator's get the result 24 hours earlier? I heard from someone who did the IB a while ago that they get it earlier so that they can call the people who failed the diploma, and/or to check if the grades seem reasonable. But I'm not entirely sure about this since a lot can change in three years. 1 Reply
Popular Post Excalibre
I got my results today. Courtesy of my Diploma Coordinator. All I can say is that the moment you read the words stating you obtained your diploma, you are hit with an entire tsunami of emotions. But the most overpowering one is that of relief, relief from not having to wait any longer. As for my results, I'll just say that I was completely satisfied with them. The feeling was like as if the entire burden of not knowing what was going to happen was lifted of my shoulders. I felt like Atlas, not having to hold up the world any longer. This was mainly because I thought I could barely pass after having witnessed the horrors of the exams, but guess I was just overthinking it. So if you're still waiting, don't worry too much. The truth will be revealed when it is, getting all anxious about it won't change the results. Take it from a guy who thought he bombed both the Physics and Chemistry HL exams, yet ended up passing with 32+ Diploma Points. I feel like the grade boundaries were lowered this year by a considerable margin, because that is the only way I would have passed Physics and Chemistry HL. That or I am the luckiest person alive when it comes to multiple choice exams. (Physics HL Paper 1, anybody? ) All in all, I'm happy to have met my offer of 33 points (No, I didn't get 33 points). So I think it's fair to say that the time of celebration has arrived! I wish the rest of you luck. May you all exceed your offers! 10 Reply
