Yahooo!
My GDC keeps on playing up, so I thought it is best I get a new one now, before the exams. I had the Texas TI-84 Plus. I was just wondering what calculator you have, and what you think is the best? Reply
Guest
I have a TI-84 plus. The silver edition seems pretty much the same as mine, just more apps. The n-spire seems too difficult to useNever seen or used anything else so I prefer the TI-84 plus. Yahooo!
Do you think the Silver Edition is worth the few extra pounds? Reply
Dax
I use the Casio FX CG-20Been using Casio's since 9th grade, so i'm pretty much used to it. The UI is easy to understand and getting around the calculator should be no problem. I always get confused with TI's Reply

Lero
TI-84 was nice and simple for me to use. Reply
laurad3
I've always used TI-84 Reply
Guest HayashiEsme
TI-84 Plus Silver Edition! It's nifty, everything's pretty intuitive, especially after the new software update. Now whether I think the Silver Edition was worth it, I guess so! I paid 25 bucks more for my graphs to load faster, and to have a few more tables and cells, which was helpful with stats. But it's definitely not a necessity if you want the use the extra money for a good book or a few trips to Starbucks:P (which sometimes takes presidence over a slightly better calculator) Reply
Yahooo!
I decided on the Ti 84 Plus Silver Edition in colour. I might end up regretting spending that much money on it, but it seems so cool!! Reply
-._._.-
Do you think the Silver Edition is worth the few extra pounds?Consider it for the games (for the Math HL people) ! Reply
Nabz
Good thing about Casio 9860G is that it lets you solve any equation with one variable, just by inputting the equation in. It also has a very handy simultaneous equation solver with variables up to 6...To be honest, i find TI-84 quite useless as they've wasted the space by putting games in when in Casio, you get extra features which you can "use" in your exam.
