What do you want to be when you grow up?

Structural engineer.

Although creative structural engineers sometimes draw inspiration from life science, Physics might be a more relevant choice than Biology for your HL studies.

Precisely, regret is deep in my subject choices.

Luckily here in Australia physics is not a prerequisite.

Well...I just want to be able to have a wide variety of jobs, so I'm planning to study PPE (philosophy, politics and economics), or some course alike...and then work somewhere around the world =D...Maybe I can be in the UN, maybe part of a government, or maybe just head of an organization...up to the future to decide!

I want to be an author. I'm going to study English Lit. and will probably get a job as a teacher somewhere after that. If my writing career kicks off, I can devote myself to my second biggest love; the ocean and marine life. (:

Do you want to write fiction or non-fiction? It's easier to find a publisher for specialist non-fiction than for popular novels, but the returns from sales will never approach those from a successful best seller. You should be able to exploit your knowledge of the ocean and marine life in either case.

Good luck!

I want to get my IB diploma, get a bachelor's degree in maybe math and art, and become a computer person who designs software or makes it more user-friendly. Or something like that. Some job that earns me enough money that i can make the art studio in my head. And I want to do great things for people. Like my cousin who spent a year in Peru being a nurse.

Here are my interests: Japanese, psychology, zoology. I'm thinking of being a psychobiological, zoologist, wildlife biologist or something similar. Of course those are very different. And a strange dream in the back of my mind is to be a Japanese translator or something. Anyone have any career advice for me? My problem is I'm quite strong in all my subjects, so my teachers have always said I should pursue a career in their field. I have no realism limits to what I can study.
