At my current school we have about 50 people doing it so the classes are larger.

In Gr 9 and 10, there is about 250 kids in each that are doing MYP. And in Gr 11, the amount sizes down to about around 150 and sizes down once more to around 100 by Gr 12.

For HL English, which is the only class we have to take at HL, no exceptions, there can be about 25-30 kids in each class, but if you get in the more rarer classes such as SL Physics and HL Math, you can find yourself with only 15 - 20 kids in your class.

13 people in class this year, which is an all-time record. During the Intifada years here in Jerusalem, some classes were down to 2 people because all the foreigners were being evacuated. I wasn't here then though.

And we even managed to have a total of 4 guys this year. 2 years ago, we were 7 girls.

But only 7 of us do the full IB, 4 do certificates and 2 joined our school in IB2 and are only doing a normal high school diploma (they are Americans).

Does anyone else's school make them do non-IB classes, like religion and sports? We have them, only once a week which makes it slightly better...yet we get hw. But they are good for raising our overall GPA's, since it's really easy to get a 7 in them.

This is ridiculous. 7 students? 2 students? Not for us...

IB Biochemical Biology II (31)

IB MAthematical Studies II (31)

IB History of the Americas (31)

IB Visual Arts II (40)

-To save space and money our school stuck VA I with VA II so we have waaaaaay too many students for any type of art class.

IB TOK/Extended Essay (31)

IB Spanish II (IV) (22)

- It was 42 a week ago until they finally split up the Spanish III and Spanish IV classes.

IB World Lit (31)

I feel like I'm being cheated a really wonderful experience....

In Grade Nine, there was about three classes of Pre-IB, with approximately 25-30 students...

Then came Grade Ten... and the ones who knew they couldn't hack it quickly dropped... and so there was two classes...

It's Grade Eleven now, and I have one big class.

There's about 30 of us now, give or take a couple people who do certificates...

My classes are something like this...

1st Semester

HL History : 32

SL French : 28

SL Math : 30

HL Chemistry : 7 (Since most people took Bio... )

2nd Semester

TOK : 30 ?

SL French : 16 ?

HL English : 32

SL Physics : 6

Hmmm. Let's see.

SL French B: 15 or so. A lot of people chose to take Spanish ab initio.

SL Chemistry: Around 20?

SL Math: I think between 20 and 25.

HL English: About a million. :)

HL History: 25-ish.

HL Physics: Like, 14. Almost everyone took bio as their second science.

HL English - 15

HL Psychology - 10

HL History - 12

SL Chem - 5 (2 people take HL)

SL Japanese b - 2 (we have class with people taking the local course though)

SL Maths - 8 (2 people take HL)

Our timetable has HL and SL classes together so the biggest classes I have are English because everyone takes that and ToK when everyone has that as well (There are 19 IB kids in my year). Apparently there are 50+ interested for next year so it'll be weird to see what happens then.
