You people depress me...I would KILL for Math HL or Physics HL. Even a Philosophy class would be nice...

We have

Group 1: English A1 HL

Group 2: French b HL/SL, Spanish b HL/SL

Group 3: History of the Americas HL, Psychology HL/SL

Group 4: Physics SL, Biology HL/SL, Chemistry HL/SL

Group 5: Mathematics SL, Math Studies SL

Group 6: Visual Arts HL/SL, Theatre SL

To make up for the the lack of fun stuff our IB coordinator is letting me test out of IB astromomy-for those of you who looked at my thread in the Experimental Science section- IT IS possible!

Oh... by seeing at all of these posts I've realised that my school offers such a LIMITED amount of IB courses :P, that's too bad... but it might be 'cause my group is the 2nd one they're finishing with...

Anyways, at my school we've got:

G. 1: Spanish A1

G. 2: English B

G. 3: History of the Americas HL/History SL, Social and cultural anthropology SL (although they're not going to offer this anymore), Business & Management HL & SL

G. 4: Biology HL & SL, Chemistry SL, Physics SL

G. 5: Maths SL

G. 6: <blank> :)

Although I believe that in the coming years they'll implement Visual Arts/Music and maybe English A2 or French ab initio/B. That would be really cool :(

Weird, some schools only offer one of HL/SL. Seems kinda restrictive - why do they do that? Too many students so rigid timetable (our cohorts are usually ~40)? And do most other schools permit students to do 2 languages?

Anyway mine offers:

English A1

Chinese A1

Maths

French

Chinese

Indonesian

Japanese

German

Latin

Chemistry

Physics

Biology

History

Economics

Geography

Art

Music (lol bit lacking in Group 6 - they're not that popular (only 5 students out of 40 do a group 6 subject))

All at both SL and HL. Plus one girl managed to get Italian a.i., though it's not a regular course

Group 1

Spanish HL (Everyone must take this course)

Group 2

English B HL (Everyone must take this course)

French B SL

French ab SL

Group 3

History HL

History SL

ITGS SL

Philosphy SL

Group 4

Biology HL

Biology SL

Physics SL

Group 5

Mathematics SL

Math Studies

Group 6

Nothing x_x

But, since we're a small school, at the end everyone takes all of the courses (Math and French are the only ones in which you can chose the level). I mean, everyone takes History HL and Biology HL but you chose to present them in either HL or SL. So we take 9 IB courses :D
