HL Russian

HL German

HL English

HL History

HL Polish

HL Biology

HL Lunch

HL Writing

HL Construction

HL Culinary

HL Firearm assembly

HL Archery/Target practice

Holy, do these even exist?! i would take HL Lunch if i could :D

By the way, if you think of another HL (or Double HL) IB class that is either real or fictitious, please append it to this list. :-)

I would definitely take Japanese ab if I could (school don't offer this), I love that language!!!! And maybe, some art subjects if I could (we don't have that category in my school either) but I would definitely Japanese ab.

I always wish I could have taken Social and Cultural Anthropology, and maybe Spanish AB.

The reason I wanted to take Spanish AB is because I'm horrible at Spanish lol.

Or even better, I wish I could have taken Latin ab. It's always a language I've wanted to learn.

Same here!!! I always wanted to take Anthropology. Too bad our school do not offer it.

Also, Economics and Business Administration seem like nice courses too.

My courses are HL Biology, HL Chemistry, HL English A: Literature, SL Maths, SL French B, SL ITGS.

I wish I could take Philosophy, Psychology, History, Physics, World Religions, Chinese Ab Initio, Japanese Ab Initio, Korean Ab Initio, Arabic Ab Inito, Latin (or pretty much any language). My school does offer HL & SL History and HL Physics, but priorities. It's really hard making decisions :(

I would've loved to have:

Psychology or Anthropology instead of History but it was a MANDATORY course in my school *I thought we were allowed to choose our courses in IB*

Biology instead of ESS, although I'm fine with the ESS course, however the Biology course was taught in Spanish.

Spanish in STANDARD LEVEL instead of SPANISH in HIGH LEVEL, but our school told us to take it in HIGH LEVEL. It was mandatory.

Maybe Theatre, Music or Film, but I really love Visual Arts, whatever it was the ONLY option anyway.

Apparently where I live, the government educational system (whatever that's called), obligated every school to teach us at least one history subject.

Physics instead of Chemistry because I had an absolutely horrible teacher in grade 11.

Anthropology or Psychology instead of Geography because 2 years of Geography for IGCSE is enough. But I would have taken Geography anyway because I would likely not do well in unfamiliar subjects.

My school doesn't offer Psychology HL.

I'd totally do that instead of Biology HL. (I'd rather take SL bio)

I'm currently taking: History HL, English HL, Biology HL, Spanish HL"SL" (doing HL work but marked SL :D), Psychology SL and Math

I wouldn't change what subjects I did for IB because the broad subjects mean I can do pretty much anything I want at uni...except I would have liked to do the computer and tech subject and psychology as well as business and management just to see what those subjects are like.

I feel like doing more specialist type subjects other than broad ones like physics and chem that are generic might have helped me to decide what I actually enjoy studying and want to do at uni.

(or alternatively have done the easier alternative to IB which is called SACE and then chosen subjects like Nutrition and Legal Studies)
