lilianna009
So generally the problem is that we didn't really work much with gdc and most of my classmates don't own a gdc. So sometimes we use it in classes but reeeeeaaally rarely.I know that there are some guides on using the gdc, I have found some. But my question is what exactly should I be able to do on gdc for the exams?Like try pointing out such things as '3x3 matrices' etc.I would be very greatful for any ideas. -._._.-
Solve equations, solve simultaneous equations, finding roots of polynomials, graphs - maximum, minimum, zeros, value of y for certain values of x, intercept with y=a (to find values of x that gives y=a), gradient at a certain point. The Rainbow Connection
The GDC Is absolutely amazing and incredibly useful, and pretty much vital for the exam in my opinion. I really recommend you viewing a tutorial for GDC because you can do so many things (as mentioned above) on it and saves so much time.Other things you can do - from a math studies perspective:-Statistics tests (chi-squared testing as well)-Intercepts with waves -Equations: simultaneous and even general ones through the solver Edited April 16, 2013 by The Rainbow Connection Reply
-._._.-
I'm not sure if you do statistics but it can give you values for your binomial distribution, normal distribution, poisson distribution, etc.Solve your integrals for you (if you have limits). cricketcrazynerd
Use POLYSMLT for solving equations quickly Reply
susanne
play around with your GDC as much as you can;the learning process is quite similar to Photoshop, except less hard.OH and don't forget to exchange info with friends, they might a different way to use it, Reply
