deissi
don't hate appreciate lol whatever dudehttp://www.highbeam.com/doc/1P3-1513587681.htmlYes, in quantity, you got the most diplomas. However, quality-wise, it seems like your diploma receiving rate is much lower than that of best schools (=100%). Reply
ImMario
yea that's true but i mean we have so many kids that it's impossible for everyone to pass so I think it's pretty good we had soooo many kids get their diploma so yea...... Aether
Goshhh, I get soo depressed whenever I see this kind of things ... I don´t know what the exact diploma rate of my school is, but IB is 5 years old in my school, and every single year there has been more than 1 failure. Chelleee
well....actually...our group is the first group to ever go through IB in our school...and we haven't gotten predicted grades and whatnot (our report cards: A-E weren't to good either - overall that is) it's really annoying that they aren't allowed to give us our marks in 7-1 form @@so we're forced to do some dodgy conversion which ends up killing our marks even more Reply
Stereoisomer
Our school achieved 110 Diplomas (out of 112) with sixes and sevens accounting for more than half of the subject grades awarded. Two students have taken a top score of 44 points (there are some re-marks in progress for students on 43 points). 98% pass rate 13% +40 Mean: 34 points.<EXTRACT FROM SCHOOL'S WEBSITE> (slightly modified with the school's name deleted ) Reply
deissi
I haven't done the math but how can sixes and sevens account more than half of the grades when your average diploma score is 34 and 34/6 = 5.67, and that also excludes bonus points..? Mr. Shiver
When you factor in the diploma points, it seems even less plausible. Edited February 7, 2009 by Mr. Shiver Reply
Stereoisomer
It's on our school's website.. I suppose they MIGHT have wrote it for promotional purposes. Maybe it is a specious claim, I wouldn't know. But I know for sure that there are at least 14 students who received a 40+ mark. Reply
dragoneye776
Palm Harbor has a 98% diploma rate Reply
hermine0817
Last time in my school (May 08), 5 students manage to get 45.And around 20+ didn't get their certificate. And in 2002, my school was among the best school in the world. Wow.... 5 people who got 45 points... In my school, we still haven't cracked the 40 barrier.39 was the best so far. Reply
Eternalx
I think it's 78/89 so that's about 87/88% Reply
