Nikita K
My teacher assigned a Math IA, and the topic is Pricing. He didn't really explain anything and said that we were free to do whatever we want. I've decided to compare Microsoft and Apple stock prices (my teacher approved the topic), but I'm afraid that the IA will lean towards business rather than math. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can focus on Math? The best I'm coming up with is comparing the graphs of the two companies. Any help is appreciated! It should work fine. You can try to come up with a general statement which may provide a trend between the stock prices of Apple and Microsoft against time. You can try different methods to test out our general statement. Reply
Nikita K
My teacher said to remember to focus on the "math aspect of things". I have no idea what that means. I am currently comparing each company's stock prices with important occasions like stocks during launch of Macbook pro, Windows 8, Steve Jobs' death, etc. Hopefully it'll work out?
