elmar
My friends and I use it via phones to stay in communication: instead of sending 4 text messages, it's easier just to send 1 to Twitter! Reply
__inthemaking
No, my life isn't interesting enough to constantly update and have followers that would actually want to know what I'm doing every minute/hour lol. Reply
MaryamB
I used to. I was with a friend of mine who had one and insisted I make oen, so I did. A week later I stopped using it to be honest (no offence whatsoever to those out there) but I really think its kinda a waste of time. Whats the point of telling people where you are headed to and what you are gonna start your day with??? I totally respect other opinions. and again, sorry if I offended any of you out there Reply
ABC123456
I use it and I have to say I love it. Not because I am self-centered or anything like that. I use it as personal blog. If there is ever a moment I found funny or memorable or if something happened that I thought I should remember, I whip out my phone and send it to Twitter. It's usually a quote someone said or something like "I had the most incredible day with my friends. We did blah, blah, blah.", so one day I can look back at it and remember that day. I also like that it's not shown to everyone like how a status on Facebook is. Oh and there's not ONLY celebrities that use Twitter. News channels and even the White House in the U.S uses Twitter. I get text alerts from CNN breaking news everyday if anything major happens. Also when the Haiti earthquake happened, lots of people used Twitter to spread the word about making donations. I definitely think, IMO that Twitter is worth using. Oh and to reply about how everyone can Twitter-stalk you whereas on Facebook it's only your friends: not necessarily. On Facebook if you don't set your security up, other people can still see your Wall, Pictures, Info, everything. Just like Facebook, you can set your security on Twitter so that your profile is off limits to others and you have to approve people following you before they can. It's all a matter of what you do to your account. 1 Reply
Amber
I can see why people may want it but i don't. It will just make me addicted to the computer, lol who needs to know what I am doing at exactly 8:10 pmI know people use it for good uses, but for me personally, i wouldn't need it.A,ber Reply
x___x
well, i'm using Twitter.hereif you want to follow me.yeah, i admit, it's not suitable for everyone, but for people like me, who love to read inspiring quotes and funny thoughts and the like, Twitter is perfect. you don't need to read a whole story to get what the writer wants you to grasp, one sentence and you get it all.
