For those of you who havn't taken the exams or havn't gotten your predicted IB marks yet, what marks do you think you'll get in each of your courses and what marks are you aiming for?

I'll start

I havn't gotten my predicteds yet so my predicteds may be way off from what I'll actually get =/

Math HL: 7, and also hoping for 7

History HL: 6, also going for 7

Bio HL: 6, 6 is sufficient for me

English A SL: 5, a 6 would be great though

French B SL: 7, 7 -- took it once and got a 6 so I'm hoping I'll get a 7 this time

Chem SL: 6, 7 -- Chem teacher told me I'm perfectly capable to get a 7.. that is if I stop slacking so much in class LoL :D

ToK/EE: 2, hoping for 3 (EE is a mess at the moment.. I'm fairly confident in ToK)

Totals

Prediction:39

Aiming for 43 (ha! I HIGHLY doubt this'll happen ^_^ )

My predicted grades have been put in already but I dont know them and I am not going to guess what I got

But wat I am aimming for is (practise exam grades in the bracket):

English A1 SL - 6 (6)

Spanish ab initio - 6 (6)

Geography HL - 7 (6)

Biology HL - 6 or 7 (5)

Chemistry HL - 6 or 7 (5)

Maths SL - 6 (4)

3

I am pretty confident with these aims considering I didn't study for my practise exams and all my internal assessments were 7 except Spanish.

I have been predicted:

A2 English HL: 6

Biology HL: 5

Psychology HL: 6

A1 Swedish SL: 6

Math SL: 5

Chemistry SL: 5

And then bonus points I don't know since the school apperently had some policy about predicting it and gave everyone 1,5. However, I have seen students getting higher and will ask for my real predicted bonus points.

Also, my Biology predicted grades might change next week to 6 instead because of an agreement with my teachers (if I do well on a test and etc).

I am aiming for higher. I just try to be realistic. I would love 7 in some of these subjects but I know I have done some mistakes in my IA. For instance, the oral commentary in English, my math portfolios and well chemistry - we have only done 4 lab reports, done of which involved planning a/b. My psy ia is not going well either.

But I will work hard to achive very good grades.

Ah, Good luck with it all. I'm sure you'll do very well on your exams too. =)

Hm... I don't have my predicted marks yet evidently, but I'm definitely aiming for

Math SL: 6 - 7

ITGS SL: 6 - 7

Chemistry HL: 5 - 6

Physics HL: 5

French HL: 6 - 7

English SL: 5

Bonus marks: 1 - 3

I'm definitely not very confident in receiving high marks, considering the amount of work ethic I have. These marks are probably realistic. If I work harder I might get the higher than the lower.

So hopefully I can land it around 34 - 40. If not, I'll definitely get 32+

Jeez, all you guys are so much higher than me. I've changed a few teachers this year so maybe it's a reflection of that.

What I will probably get is in the brackets. My predicted score is.

English A1 SL: 5 (5)

French B HL: 4 (5)

Spanish Ab Initio: 4 (6)

Business & Man HL: 6 (7)

Physics SL: 6 (7)

Maths HL: 6

Total: 31 (36)

Exactly what I was thinking...I feel so stupid after looking at all those 6's and 7's lol...

English HL: 5

Chemistry HL: 4

Geography HL: 4

Math SL: 6

Mandarin SL: 6

Physics SL: 4

EE/TOK: 1

30 is what I honestly predict myself, although we get our actual predicted grades in January. I'm aiming for a 32.

I'm getting my predicted grades in february I think? after the mock exams..

but okay..here is what i am hoping for :S

HL:

Math: 7 ( wouldnt be VERY disapointed with 6...but would kill myself for 5 :( )

Slovene: 6 would be fair enough

Psychology: 6.... :innocent:

SL:

Economics: 7 (6 if i'll be very lazy...I am ''smart enough'' for a 7 but who knows what happens... :D )

Physics: 6

English: 7 (wouldn't be very disapointed with 6)

7th subject: SL Further mathematics: haha :diablo: maybe 2? :S

TOK & EE: 1

Ok, basically, I dont want any 5 :P

Altogether: 37-40 :P

Thats what i am hoping for...I KNOW I CAN get that good grades...it just depends how hard i will be working for this 6 months....(i can be very very lazy :S and its killing me ) I didnt do much in the first year :D

Predicted:

English HL: 7

Economics HL: 3

Music HL: 7

Math Studies SL: 6

French ab initio SL: 6

Environmental Systems SL: 7 (anticipated that one last year)

And my co-ordinator told me i will get the 3 extra marks.

39.

I think I'm far more likely to get a 34 though. Man I hate Economics. Why didn't I do History?!

My own predictions:

Chem HL: 6 or 7 (more likely 6)

Bio SL: 5 or 6 (more likely 6)

Math SL: 5 or 6 (more likely 5... but could be 6 because I'm doing good this year compared to last)

Hist HL: 5 or 6 (totally up in the air)

French HL: 6 or 7 (bordering on 7)

English HL: 5 or 6 (up in the air)

EE/TOK: - (haven't completely finished both yet.)

Anywhere between 32-38 without including the extra marks.

HL English B 7

SL Math 7

SL Arabic A1 7

SL ITGS 6 (hoping for a 7 but its unlikely....)

basically i am 39/42 predicted, my EE is good but TOK is EXTREMELY BAD so i would say 2 or 1 bonus...

I'm a Year 2 IB student in Canada, and here are my predicted grades:

HL English 7

HL Chemistry 7

HL Biology 6

SL French 6

SL Economics 7 (this is my actual as well, b/c the final exam was last year)

SL Math 7 (this is my actual as well, b/c the final exam was last year)

EE & TOK - unknown at this time

therefore, my predicted total is 40/42, but I'm hoping I can push either my french or bio grade up to a 7
