what is it about??? @hopefulundertone

a quick google search can answer your question...............

In general, it's a debate about whether evolution and other sciences should be taught in schools, as opposed to fundamentalist religious views. It came about as a result of a trial several decades ago.

Remember, we can't just give you a topic/question to write about. The history of science is incredibly broad. There has to be some independent thinking going into it. Think about why you're choosing to write a 4,000 word paper on the history of science. Do you want to go into a scientific career at some point? Is there a field of science that interests you? You're going to spend too much time on this for it to not interest you at all.

Have you thought about doing a group 4 EE? If you can't jot down inspirations or a list of reasons why you want to do an EE specifically about the "history of science", instead of the science itself, you may want to focus on something else.

This.

And no offense to you, but honestly with the way you've been going about this forum just asking for ideas on assignments that you should actually come up with an idea with, and with little or no input of your own, is pretty much self-gimping. Simply put, we can't help you because you're not doing enough.

Rather, if you come up with a more detailed proposal/outline of what you intend to do and how you want to pull it off, then people can properly evaluate what you're doing and give more helpful feedback.
