Babydolleyes Posted September 16, 2012 Report Share Posted September 16, 2012 You could contact the local Red Cross and ask if they need help, you could join a gym, you could start drawing or knitting, take up dance classes, cooking classes, take photographs of nature. There are so many possibilities. One of my favourite CAS projects was creating a presentation on IB and then visiting schools introducing the programme, so people know exactly what their options are. There are many rumours about IB in my country, and many people think its just an easy programme for foreigners. Now people hopefully know better! My next presentation is scheduled on the 25th of September and approximately 80 kids will be watching us present it! Stressful, fun and good CAS all at the same time. You could also arrange bake sales and fund raisers for charity. The list goes on, just try to be creative and find something that excites you! Good luck. LikeA'13OSS Posted September 16, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 16, 2012 My supervisors said that a CAS project should involve two of creativity action and service and that it should run for a minimum of three months, thats why i wasnt quite sure and i checked about the gym, he told me thst it wont be counted as CAS!
