KattigKatt
I've just got feedback on my IA and got 15/20I know that you count together both your IA:s into 1 grade out of 40, but then what represents what? And what would a 5, 6, 7 be?Thanks in advance! Reply
CkyBlue
It may differ a bit per year as the boundaries will move up or down. In the May 2010 a 5 was 24-28, a 6 was 29-33, and a 7 was 34-40. The IB won't tell you what the boundaries are for your year, so you just have to try to guess what they might be, and do the best you can. 1 Reply
carpediem
Also, my teacher said the other day that the boundaries don't change that much year-to-year in his experience, so Capt'n Marth's boundaries should be a pretty good indicator. 1 Reply
KattigKatt
So in the end the final grade will consist of 0.2*(your all together grade [ex.7))O.2 since that is 20% of the final score? carpediem
Yes, both Portfolios together make a total of 20% of the final grade.Source: http://ibo.org/recognition/resources/documents/SLMathematicsBrief2.1.pdf Reply
