Carsarefood
I do a lot of procrastination, but I still deliver a good deal of work way before dues. At least in social sciences (currently, I've delivered World Lit. 1 first draft 3 weeks before schedual and I've delivered a ToK Practice essay 1 week before, and that's just now...) hanna-l
I HAVE to get rid of that habit. I should be thinking about my EE research question right now, I have a meeting with my supervisor tomorrow and I know that he's gonna be super pissed off if I don't prepare anything. But I still find so many better things to do rather than research stuff for EE. + my teachers make me feel embarrassed for procrastinating, that's the worst part of it. cocoa.puff
Apparently, there's a law of procrastination in IB. Reply

Yasmeen
I think procrastination probably becomes automatic at the point when you feel you know your purpose in life (whether that's a terminal one or a relatively minor one). I bet most religious folk feel this way. And probably most adults, right? Just a responsibility thing. So, you avoid. You feel bad: you avoid more.I do it all the time but haven't joined the IB yet. This summer I'll be procrastinating about preparing for the IB. Story of my life!Edit: maybe the people who procrastinate most work best under pressure, as well. But, maybe that's a vicious circle. o.O meh... Edited June 13, 2009 by Yasmeen Reply
