I HAVE to get rid of that habit. I should be thinking about my EE research question right now, I have a meeting with my supervisor tomorrow and I know that he's gonna be super pissed off if I don't prepare anything. But I still find so many better things to do rather than research stuff for EE. + my teachers make me feel embarrassed for procrastinating, that's the worst part of it.

I realise this is the BIggest problem of mine !!!

I know exactly what I should do but then my mind just can't stay focus .

I know I should finish this and that , yet I never have the motivation nor energy or power to get started .

I feel guilty day by day , especially during holidays !!!!!

It seems I have lose all of my power during holidays .

I stay up late and wake up late .

So, I'm now really desperate to get things done .

I think I am a loser !

My god you sound like me!

its like no motivation of inspiration to work

and when i take away all my distractions

I end up staring otuside the window

just procrastinating in the most bizzarre ways

and just avoiding work!

AH and then i go through the regret

emo phase which is like

'wasted so much time'

then i hate on time and thhink i haveno life ¬.¬

I'm slightly comforted at the fact that there are people out there like me! thought i was deseased for a while there haha...

I think procrastination probably becomes automatic at the point when you feel you know your purpose in life (whether that's a terminal one or a relatively minor one). I bet most religious folk feel this way. And probably most adults, right? Just a responsibility thing.

So, you avoid. You feel bad: you avoid more.

I do it all the time but haven't joined the IB yet. This summer I'll be procrastinating about preparing for the IB. Story of my life!

Edit: maybe the people who procrastinate most work best under pressure, as well. But, maybe that's a vicious circle. o.O meh...
