TNT
I think it will be higher than last year because this year's paper was probably easier? I don't know what are you opinions? Reply
Sandwich
On the whole, even where the boundaries change, it's rarely by more than a couple of marks or percentage points. I remember my chemistry teacher once got really excited and told us the boundary had dropped one year and so of course we asked by how much and she said something ridiculous like from 80% to 78% for a 7.... yeah. That's not enough of a change to save my grade! Reply
CommeDesEnfants
Certainly not for TZ1 - trust me. My chem teacher's said they've been anywhere from 76 to 82 in the past. Reply
tdubthebassist
no exams other than Maths changes the boundary more than 5 percent. Reply
Vahl
I hope it's really low since my paper 2 was baaaad .. but I'm rying not to worry too much until I get the result Reply
zakuropanda
Yeah I don't think Chem is generous about changing boundaries... Reply
hermine0817
Ahaha, I just have to hope that it stays low. Paper 1 might be something like 36 or 37 for a 7, for Paper 2, I can't judge. Reply
Tilia
Well I think P1 was easier than usual, P2 was harder than usual and P3 was as usual (TZ2), so if were lucky they might lower it a bit.But they cn actually vary quite a bit. Consider 09, P3TZ1 required 37 points for a 7TZ2 required 40 points for a 7N09 required 36 points for a 7So it's not just about 1 mark. Reply
Cavy
All I need is a 5 on the written to boost me to a 6 overall...but higher than that would be awesomesauce, so it'd be SUPER GOOD if they would stay low. I really feel like Paper 2 was the hardest one I've ever seen though, and everyone else thought the Options were more difficult than usual too... I didn't think so but the rest of my class did (Op D, Op E) Reply
Tilia
At least I get the impression that I'm not the only one who found P2 hard, so hopefully... Reply
