KLSmash
What exactly about graffiti? Because if I recall correctly, you need to meet a certain requirement on the criteria, and that research is always needed. Reply

Because if I recall correctly, you need to meet a certain requirement on the criteria, and that research is always needed.I'm still not sure yet about graffitibut i was thinking more of researching the culture aspect behind it.so i was thinking more of a documentary type product in the end.but i haven't submitted the topic proposal yet.so another idea i had was...this summer i'm coordinating and putting on a fashion show in my nieghborhoodso i didnt know if i could somehow make that into my personal project. Vvi
I think the fashion show sounds a lot better, because you're personally involved in it and you're actually physically doing something. Personal project about the fahsion eras that show will be concentrating on (the history, how they developed and how they influence fashion today), why you chose them and how you incorporated all the elements of that era into your show? Addy
The fashion show idea sounds good to me too.One thing I want to point out, because I don't think anyone else has yet.Regardless of what you ultimately choose to do, make sure to spend a decent amount of time on the writeup. That is, your progress journals, research, and reflection. Your school might be really different from mine, but in my MYP, some people had amazing projects with almost no written portion to accompany it. Guess what? The teachers failed them.Just keep that in mind when it comes time to write your reflection. Good luck and HAVE FUN! Reply
