Mahuta ♥
I had a cat, in my home country though, 'nousa' but..she just kept getting babies and my grandfather got insanely fed up and they took her somewhere else. It was really sad, because she kept following the car . We had her since she was like A BABY. (and yeah..i said 'she' ..lol)I also had turtles, a big one and 4 small ones. The small ones were taken by..'something' and the big one just disappeared, i loved them! We had two goldfish in our house when i was in japan, but they died after like 2 years or something? Now, none. I had very bad experience with pets..I'm going to get a turtle when I'm at uni. Reply

greaterthaninfinity
Whoa, you found your bird? WHERE? He's absolutely adorable.I don't have any pets. I had some guppies for a school experiment, and we basically were testing how long they could last without food or water. One of them survived from May to September of last year... somehow. I believe it ate one of the other guppies along with another snail. And miraculously, even in that murky environment, two of my guppies spawned guppy babies in July. It was quite something. I seriously think that all of my guppies and snails had magical powers. All of them lasted for more than an entire month, while most of my classmates had guppies and snails who died after a few days (and a few weeks, at most). And uh, I'm not particularly fond of animals, but I would like something exotic. I saw on the news today about how these people were smuggling venomous snakes from the States into Canada and I immediately thought, "Wow, I'd want one of those!" moneyfaery
Whoa, you found your bird? WHERE? He's absolutely adorable. In the field at school, hehe. I've had him for almost a year now. All of them lasted for more than an entire month, while most of my classmates had guppies and snails who died after a few days (and a few weeks, at most). That reminds me, I used to have this one guppy and I'd torture (well, kinda... I was a kid then) when I was in China. I rarely fed it and it survived for 2 years. Every time I went on vacation for 1-2 weeks, I'd dump a ****load of food in his bowl. So anyway, I gave the fishie to my greatgrandpa when I left; he took diligent care of the fishie... and it died after 2 weeks. And uh, I'm not particularly fond of animals, but I would like something exotic. I saw on the news today about how these people were smuggling venomous snakes from the States into Canada and I immediately thought, "Wow, I'd want one of those!"Oohh, I used to want a snake when I was small! Mom shouted me down. Grandpa is a fond admirer of snakes though, apparently. Maybe we could work something out. Reply

Ruan Chun Xian
I used to have a turtle and he would disappear for months and then randomly appear every once in a while to get fed. Reply
KWB
i have had... two hamsters... a white one called rupert... he used to climb the cage, open it, then jump off it (it was on a shelf) then run around the house.... since he was white he got dirty quite easily... he died after 3 or 4 years he had a tumour. The second i gave to my cousins... I think he ended up being sqweezed. I had 6 guppies, dont know what happened to him. Had a Bichon Frise, a cute small white puppy, she ate rat poison (dont point fingers, it wasnt me who left the poison out ) and now i have another Bichon Frise, who is cute, but very silly. She runs so much, and the floor is slipery that she usually runs into things (mainly the couch) or she doesnt measure the distance when jumping.. Aldarion
We used to have one dog (Dutch shepherd), who was one of the greatest pets we've had, since in the evenings when going to sleep it always came and slept beside you. He had to be taken to the doctor, because it got a bit aggressive towards outside people due to a hip fracture. I miss him. Then we also had 4 gerbiles, and most of them lived almost 5 years, where normal gerbiles live 3-4 years! Unfortunately one of them proved to be a cannibal... It killed one of its friends and had to be taken into separate cage from others. But today we have two dogs (German shephers, father and son) and three cats.I've been dreaming for having a snake as a pet, but for some reason my mom wouldn't approve that. Now I live in my own apartment, so I could get one, but I have to go to the army next January (in Finland, army is compulsory). But who knows, what might happen after that. TidusBlade
Pets seem to hate me lol, they always die We firstly had two turtles, we let them loose in the garden and yes, we never found them again Then came rabbits, we never neutered them so we had like 12 rabbits within 6 months, then 8 died when their tunnel collapsed and we gave away the other 4 because they were starting to demand too much lettuce. Then we had 3 or 4 hamsters, I think my sister mistreated them and the female decided to eat the newborn babies and then she was murdered by the male, all in one night.Yeah, I'm not getting any more pets Edited November 13, 2009 by TidusBlade Reply

bLub
Don't have any pets atm coz it's simply not possible where I live (and I don't have the time & money atm) but I've ever since wanted a dog! I think dogs can be really good friends and sometimes understand you much better than other people. Even with out talking to them, they just know what's going on...When I was little I had maaany rabbits and it would be so nice to have some again at some point. Would just be nice to have something so cute that also reminds you of childhood days Reply
