Survivor123
I have been told that it is not necessary to show any workings in order to receive full marks? I usually just use my GCD and write down the result in the answer box, but I would like to change this habit if it will prevent me from receiving full marks on tests? Hope you guys can give me a clear answer as my math teacher cannot. Reply
kevG
I don't know about studies but usually in paper 2 if I obtain a result which I can receive only using a calculator then I just draw an arrow and say "from GDC" Reply
ibprincess
in paper 1 they look on the answer line for the correct answer, if the answer is correct you get full marks for that question but if it is incorrect then they look in the working box to give you marks for your working out in paper 2 i think the working is more important but i'm not actually sure i would recommend you write down the steps that you do so you can get marks for working if for whatever reason the answer is wrong 1 Reply
