Solarstorm
Having the IB pressure, how many hours do you sleep a day in average? Reply
Indita
I always need at least 7 hours of sleep everyday, and I cannot focus during the night, so I spend my study time mostly after school and after dinner. So basically the IB doesn't affect my sleeping time Reply
__inthemaking
Well I'm done IB now but I slept around 10:30-11 pm every night and woke up at 7am. So that's ~8 hours. On nights when I had assignments/tests, I sometimes pulled all nighters (especially for IAs) or I would sleep around 12-2am and wake up at 7. NaaPuchho
At the moment I sleep around 5 hours per night. Let's see if this number decreases or increases anytime soon. Reply
IBdoc
I sleep around 7 hours a night. But IB has just started for me so maybe this number will decrease soon. haha Reply

uummmdonuts1
lol i read somewhere in a list of you know you're in IB when... and one of them was that you have earnt to sleep with your eyes open and control drooling in lessons. I though it was amusing. Reply

Guest syrianstar
According to the IB Glossary:Sleep ≠ IB. There is no sleep. Only coffee and caffeine pills. I think most IB students can confirm that I usually sleep around midnight because that is when I finish all my work and I wake up at 6:00 because we have to leave the house at 7:00 and it takes a long time to get out of bed . So technically that is around 6 hours of sleep (only ) give or take one hour. Yawn Reply
cereja
Usually I get about 6 hours...if there's an IA or major test, that decreases to about 4. During exam time (AP & IB), that decreases further. Reply
beccilini
It varies but I would say it's never above 8, and usually 6. But I'm alwaaaays tierd. Reply

blindpet
I slept around 8-10 hours during IB and never pulled all-nighters - I care too much about quality sleep for that Edited September 16, 2008 by blindpet Reply
KLSmash
I try to go to sleep around 10:30pm - 11:00pm nowadays, and I wake up at 6:30am. So about 7 - 8 hours. Next semester, when I can wake up at about 8:15am, I'll be sure to be getting about 9 - 10 hours of sleep which will be fantastic! Reply
