deissi
iPods break too easily IMOi was playing a vid when i dropped it on the floor, and the ipod is broken ever sincethe HD was screwed upIt's not really the iPods fault... HDDs just don't stand any damage whatsoever if they're spinning - iPod or not, nothing Apple can do about it.BTW Anyone getting the new OS Leopard for Mac, which will be released in 2 days? sweet_tanjarine
I used to have two ipods. Old one I always dropped but it never scratched! Then I got a red nano ipod and I bought a special black case for it so it would have not bothered me as much if I dropped it. Damnit I took the ipod out one day and my ring scratched the back of it. It is so irritating thinking about it lol.

Shorty
I would LOVE to have one of the new iTouches. At the moment I have the 1G ipod nanos which by the way is still in great condition
ffaholic
I think there are much better MP3 players than the IPOD in the market right now. The IPOD is just advertised like crazy but there are a lot of really good mp3 players out there. I think you should take a look at the others before deciding about which one you would like to buy. Shorty
I'm not getting a new one. I just said that I would like to have one but yea, I'll definitely check out the other MP3 players before I commit to iPods.
ozZiiiii
Footnote: Apple MacWorld keynote in four days! It's one of apple's biggest events if you don't know, the event where they usually present all their major projects for the year.I'll wait and buy a 3G iPhone if one will be released. chileanbob
I really wanted those video iPods...not those new Nano ones; the original ones. Also, I didn't know that Apple would ingrave some text into the back of the iPod online. That's cool. =]

Dooga
It's just not really worth it. Apple has always been known to overprice things, but do they really guarantee quality?
chileanbob
I think that ipods are a waste of money, unless you're using it to its full potential (like external hide drive, movie store-er, etc).
Shorty
Well, both of you guys have a point there. Spending 200-400 on an mp3 for just music isn't enough...gotta have the works Well I recently got an iPhone, actually for christmas, and its been unlocked and everything. I have to say this is pretty much a portable computer, a compact musical instrument, or even a book all at the same time!

Like I said I have the "unlocked" Ipod Touch and it really is amazing what the device can do. It can emulate a GBA, PS1 and NES. Its amazing.
chileanbob
Well if it can do all that, then sure it can be worth it, I guess.
