Math IA Survey: Sleep and Anxiety

Hi, I'm supposed to be working over my math IA over the winter break, and I'm planning to do a stats IA to see the correlation between sleep deprivation and anxiety, since we'd be very familiar with the two things.

By "anxiety", I'm asking specifically about feelings of worry, uneasiness, or nervousness to the point where it affects your ability to function. It can be anything from mild (ie: not being able to focus) to moderate (ie: feeling nauseous) to severe (ie: hyperventilating).

So for the survey:

1. How many hours of sleep do you get on an average school night?

2. Do you experience any anxiety from lack of sleep? Rate your anxiety from 0 to 10.

3. How many hours of sleep do you get when you have a test the next day?

4. Does your anxiety get worse during test days? Rate your anxiety from 0 to 10.

All names will be anonymous.

Thanks!

1. Four to six on average (however I often get only one to three hours of sleep when I have to write an essay due to my procrastination).

2. I don't really suffer from anxiety but I sometimes regret not having gone to sleep earlier and thus being tired in the morning (so let's say 1).

3. Same as usual, maybe four or five hours instead of six (however I often get only one to three hours of sleep when I have to write an essay due to my procrastination, as said above).

4. No, in fact it's the opposite - I should care more about the tests so maybe 1... (I stress a lot about the essays and writing, though!)

Hoped that helped :)
