Award Winning Boss
Anything you decide to start yourself. So if you decide to begin a club at your school that discusses why CAS is such a great addition to the IB then that's taking initiative. sameera95
Ideas for initiated activities: photography, starting a club, creating a sketchbook, starting video blogging for a good cause eg to raise awareness of illnesses on YouTube (that's creativity and service). and some advice: please do your CAS in time before it's too late! Masoomali fatehkia
You could start a tutoring session for young kids, that is if you enjoy teaching and are comfortable teaching the subject. You could start any kind of club in your school, it could be an art club, drama club, environmental related club. You could also learn to do something you haven't done before, like learn a new sport, learn how to play an instrument. Reply

r1111
I was planning on doing something related to teaching kids and making lesson plans for them. It counts a s community service and I was told by my CAS coordinator this would fulfill that initiate ... requirement. Reply
