Definitely, though, I use it every day (can't say I'm a fan of whipping out a calculator in the supermarket que!)Maths - Doin Maths Methods and plan to go ahead with Maths HL soonThe only reason i'm doing it is cuz i plan to pursue Engineering in the future.Otherwise would've dropped it sooo long ago! By june last year, the first half of every class was our teacher yelling at us about how bad we all were, and how none of us was doing any homework, and how we were all going to fail our the ib french exams and how we deserved it because we were all so lazy and incapable... it wasn't a fun month, to say it lightly. But this year, she's been fairly calm because half the class dropped (from 30 to 14). So i'm just going to hope we get to may without any more confidence-shattering periods of emotional outbursts. Oh, and I find french to be my hardest course ( even though it's sl, i have a horrible memory when it comes to vocabulary)haha..seriously..she doesn't know how to teach us, even though she's fluent in french, she made french one of my favorite subjects to some of the worst ones..the thing with Eng HL, we actually do stuff as opposed to doing nothing except going over exercises...we really don't learn anything, nor do we develop any skills in french...and I really don't like class where I can just fall asleep, why do I still have to GO to a class anyways... My worst subject has to be French, but i'm getting better all the time! Or so my teacher says I really do think i am in reach of a 6 now...yay! I just need to concentrate on the other 5 subjects now too..... Chemistry and History Chemistry = I'm blaming the teacher. she always contradicts the textbook and confuses all of us! History = my teacher hates the way I write my essays,a nd says that my structure is messed up and that I should talk to my english teacher for advice. I think I could like both subjects under other circumstances... Don't let your teacher dictate your mark - succeed anyhow! If you've got an IB textbook, that certainly helps. Otherwise, just use the IB Syllabus for Geography. For TOK, you might want to look in the TOK section here for tips.
