Rachel_97
What undergraduate major should I take in order to go to medical school? Should I take a double major? Or should I take a major and a minor? What minor should I take? By the way, I am interested in University of Toronto. Reply
Summer Glau
A biology/life sci-related major would be best for med school. Out of the life sci majors that UofT offers, physiology would probably be best as it deals directly with the study of the human body and how it functions, which is the foundation of medicine.Double major probably won't give you an advantage when applying to med school, but if you're very interested in two different things then do it.It doesn't really matter what you minor in. Just minor in something you're interested in, be it Spanish, art history, psychology, etc. You'll get more out of it on a personal level, and doing well in something you enjoy can boost your GPA for med school. 1 Reply
