Dr. Polaris
I've been on the UCAS website, and looking at the more famous universities around. However, the entry requirements and the details of the course don't exactly mean that it's a good/bad university to go into. For example, Glasgow's requirement is 32, but that doesn't mean it's a bad school. University of British Columbia's min. req. is 24, the passing grade, but that doesn't mean it's a bad uni. Does anyone know some good universities that are famous/known for their psychology course? Thanks,DP Reply
Sandwich
In the UK Oxbridge, UCL, York and Bath all rate highly according to the Times rankings. You should check out rankings websites if you haven't already.http://extras.timesonline.co.uk/tol_gug/gooduniversityguide.php?AC_sub=Psychology Reply
bLub
As Sandwich suggested, check out the Times Rankings. But in the end, it's not all about rankings (see below)!! I know someone who went to Warwick but said, many things were overrated... And it's important that you really like the uni and the environment coz you'll spend there at least 3 years of your life! So if you're that kind of person who needs good weather to be happy or so, don't go in the north or not to UK unis at all 1 Cambridge2 Oxford3 University College London4 York5 Bath 6 Glasgow 7 St Andrews 8 Loughborough9 Exeter 10 Birmingham11 Sheffield12 Cardiff13 Bristol 14 Kent 15 Durham 16 Royal Holloway 17 Hull 18 Southampton=18 Leeds 20 Aberdeen Reply
