sprintdominator
Further Statistics and Probability seems to be the easiest. lol Reply
Eloïse.
We're doing the statistics because my maths teacher specialises in it. We all hate statistics though . The boringness will probably make it quite hard for us Reply
Bude
I heard it's very easy to check if you've done something wrong in the Calculus topic, and my teacher specialises in that, so that's the one we'll be doing. No idea what it'll be like though, I think we start it next academic year. Reply
John Hoose
My teacher said that one of the big changes in the syllabus starting 2014 is that calculus has become the easiest option, and Stats is apparently now the 'most difficult' although this obviously depends on your strengths. Blacklightcore
I think it all comes down to how interested you are in the topic; and a teacher capable of generating interest is essential in properly understanding and appreciating the options. That being said, here's my take on the difficulty in the options, from toughest to easiest. 1. Sets, relations and groups - we have not (and will not) done this option but from what I gather from the syllabus it seems to be the hardest.2. Series and Differential Equations 3. Discrete Mathematics4. Statistics and Probability Reply
