I'll take notes in class by hand, because I absolutely detest bringing my laptop into school.However, if I'm making a large compilation of notes to keep and revise for exams from, I'll type it up, so that it's clearer and neater. Unless there's something that needs diagrams, symbols and the like, in which case I'll write it.If I do type notes up though, I print it off afterwards. I can't for the life of me study off a computer screen. I hate it.If I'm writing an essay or something I'll try to write it up by hand to start off with, or at least write most of it by hand, and then type it up. The writing helps me just practise, because since I'll be writing all my exams, it tends to help me remember things.
