liv521
Hey guys, I'm conducting a meeting at school tomorrow for the Diploma juniors about the Major Project we have to do next year. I'm going to have some seniors on hand so they can describe what they did for their projects and help give some examples/ideas.But can anyone give some background information on the Major Project that you feel is important to know? I'd like to present some basic facts and background and provide them with a good, understandable introduction to it. Thanks SO much! =D Reply
sweetnsimple786
What do you mean by major project? I've never heard that term before, but in the context of CAS, is that just an activity that everyone in the class does together? Reply
liv521
Well, at my school the juniors complete 5 CAS mini-projects of about 20 hours each. In the senior year, we do a 50 hour major project. I didn't know not everyone did it this way, but I think I have some information together for tomorrow anyways... thanks though. sweetnsimple786
Wow, that's an interesting way to do it. Very structured. By the way, please don't create more than one thread about the same thing, and sometimes using "Need replies ASAP" in a title sounds demanding, so try to avoid it. G'luck for your meeting =) Reply
exploretheworld
In the UK we have something called Girl Guides and Scouts and and a lot of people help out there with younger kids which counts as a majo project... Reply
