pinkseel
During this type I, you come up with conjectures. At different stages it asks you to 'prove' your conjecture. What does this mean? I suppose if it said 'prove for values such and such and for something equals.... etc' they would mean induction, but what do they mean here? Is just plugging numbers in also called a proof?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Edited October 12, 2008 by pinkseel
Abu
If you're talking about the zeroes of cubic function investigation, you need to prove it using algebra. I'm not sure which task you're talking about.
