Need help with a question

You can solve it by using a graphing calculator, of course. First step is to put in the equation (don't know what kind of calculator you're using, so if you give that, I can help you more - for example, is it a TI-84? TI-nSpire?, ....)

Once you put in the equation in the calculator, you'll need to make sure you are looking at the correct window. So make sure your x values go from -4 to 4. If you set your y value to go from -2 to 2, you'll see the entire graph.

***Make sure you change your mode to 'Radians'. You'll really need that.

Hopefully that helps! From there, you can look at where it increases, decreases and also write it as a sin graph, as they ask you to do.e8ad37d22f7de37727d7a5d3c2545fb7b27d1c8a
