Paris Posted August 26, 2015 Report Share Posted August 26, 2015 Imo, A2 is more a realistic level of what you will achieve at the end of French AI. SL French will leave you somewhere on the B1 spectrum, and HL French is more B2 level.The CERF description of A2 level is:Waystage An ability to deal with simple, straightforward information and begin to express oneself in familiar contexts.Example: CAN take part in a routine conversation on simple predictable topics.If you can achieve that at the end of French AI, that's amazing, given many of my SL French friends are probably at A1 lol.
