I'd suggest narrow it down to a single event/element (or do multiple) because it is difficult to define 'aggressive nature'. Also, 'main cause' would be pretty hard to define. ellie Posted April 17, 2015 Report Share Posted April 17, 2015 Your RQ is also dangerously common: most likely, there are many of EEs on this topic, and you'll be competing with many others. (It's also a very common topic overall––we've spent about two or three months discussing this in IB1.) And since it's a very broad topic, you'd be better off narrowing it quite a bit, as susanne suggested. An idea that our teacher mentioned might be interesting is comparing the accounts of different historians, maybe you can play around with that? Or focus on some aspect of their activity (e.g. navy)?
