m.k.2015
Hi guys, I wanna apply for mechanical engineering at imperial college. Their website says that they require an overall IB score of 40, does that mean it's out of 42 or out of 45? Another thing is that they said they require chemistry at higher level for mechanical engineering, but when I emailed them, they said they needed physics and maths at higher level, so what is it? I am really confused Thank you in advance Reply
ctrls
From their course page: For students following the International Baccalaureate, we require an overall score of 40 points, including 6 in Mathematics and Physics at Higher level. We require a third relevant subject at Higher level 6, taken from Chemistry, Design Technology, Biology, Computer Science and Economics. Since they say overall I would presume they mean out of 45. For HL subjects, you need Maths and Physics along with a third "relevant subject," which includes Chemistry (and a 6 in all of them). 2 Reply
