Emmi Posted June 20, 2014 Report Share Posted June 20, 2014 I don't believe this counts as a valid topic or a math EE. This sounds wayyyyy more like an economics topic with some math sprinkled in. Although theoretical economics uses a lot of mathematics for modeling, analysis, and predictions for future trends, I don't think you can count this as a good topic. Math EEs typically focus on mathematical theory: you're solving an advanced problem using research, theory, proofs, and your own working. It has to contain a significant amount of advanced mathematics appropriate for your level. Have you read through the math section of the EE guide? That would be a good start.
