Centurians Posted June 11, 2014 Report Share Posted June 11, 2014 I'm a bit confused on the idea of 3 significant figures being required for all data in Math IA.Does IB require that all data values, including the values shown while processing, be shown to three significant figures (with the assumption that the exact answer has to be rounded); and does this apply to tables too, if they are displaying the process to finding an answer, rather than displaying the data itself? Guest Posted June 12, 2014 Report Share Posted June 12, 2014 When significant figures are required, you need to make sure that they are maintained consistently throughout the IA.
