maekida
Hi everyone! My topic is going to be health related, probably the correlation between alcohol consumption and mortality, age and alcohol consumption, bmi and weight/age or something along those lines. I'm struggling to find raw data and to identify whether it's usable or not. I can't really do primary research into these so I need a good source of secondary data. Does anyone know any good websites? Also, do I have to limit my data to one specific country for it to be valid? Or if it comes from multiple countries/sources, do I have to present it separately (per country or source) or can I combine it?Thanks guys! ib1123
Try Gapminder. It's a good data source. As long as you're not introducing new variables (and you can justify why you aren't) then there shouldn't be a big issue with combining countries. However, it might be better to stick with only one country. 2 Reply
