Hello, I want to do an experiment relating the properties of a transition metal complex to the wavelength of light that the complex absorbs, but I can't seem to find any data on the wavelength of light absorbed by different complexes. Are there any databases that contain this information or information related to the absorption spectrum of transition metal complexes?

Dear IB Survival community, I am almost done writing the first draft of my Biology IA. I have investigated the effect of different temperatures on the glucose content in Bananas. I have collected pictures of how the Bananas have ripened and included them under the qualitative data section in my report. Now I´m wondering where do I comment on this qualitative data? Do I talk about this in my conclusion even though it is not part of my research question or hypothesis? Thanks for your help guys :))

Long story short, I did a bio extended essay, messed up the experiment, instead of isolated colonies I got a single weird blob. No data collected. Failed the experiment. Am I allowed to use external data to support my arguments?

Hey guys, so my supervisor has told me that large raw data tables in the appendix would detract from communication, and also that I have to include the raw data table int the actual body of my essay. I don't understand how can I do that if it is too long. Also, I mean, if I have 8 treatment groups then of course there will be a lot of data tables, I mean that's my whole research about. Also,I have been told that I cannot just calculate the rate of something to be the only statistical value that I have, but that I need to have more statistical tests. Could you please share your opinion on

Whether there is a correlation between amount of sleep and reaction time? I need help figuring out more quantitative date for my Chemistry IA experiment. I am creating fires (most likely grease in order to mimic a cooking fire) and testing the speed that they are extinguished with different masses and particle sizes of sodium bicarbonate. Is there anything else that I could test for while doing my experiment that would lend itself to more quantitative over qualitative data?

I am doing my Biology IA on the effect of using your dominant and non-dominant hand on reaction times as a response to visual stimuli. If any of you has some spare time, could you do a very quick reaction time test, which will take maximum five minutes, to provide me with some more data? Hello, I'm writing a simple math paper for my Math Studies class and I'm in need for some data, I need 100 pieces of data at least. My paper is on determining wether speaking more than one language influences someone's memory capacity (Does it make them remember things clearly?) and so I'll compare that to people who only speak one language.
