r1111
The image and text are both trying to convey a message. Both have a context and audience. Now it is true that sometimes it's hard to analyze and image. But remember the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words". Practice analyzing different texts and images and write about your analysis and you will get better at it. Reply
insomniac writer
Try looking at the picture from a different view. Find the message behind it and interpret it the way you see it. Pictures and texts both have an audience, context and a message. Talk and write about the specific image with the most concrete sensory vocabulary. For example, if the picture is a tree, talk about the direction the branches and leaves are in, how they move, sound, feel (use your imagination for this), and how they're shaped. Include every detail you can find. What caught your eye in the picture? What stands out? Before doing the Paper 1, I would suggest practicing comparing a text type with a picture and gain feedback so that you can ameliorate yourself in this subject.
