But that wasn't what I meant I was thinking more whether I am allowed to improve my portfolio or is it absolutely mandatory to chose the other topic? Your teacher should assign you this I think it was 10 days set by the IBO unless it's changed. If you've submitted your final draft and your teacher has accepted it then you won't be able to change it any more but you could choose another topic and start from scratch.
