Because of Reasons
Hi. I was wondering if it would be too kind of controversial to do my history IA on the Stonewall Uprising and how it affected the Gay Rights Movement in the United States. If you would please let me know what your opinion is, that would be wonderful:) Thank you. Erudite
I don't think there's anything wrong with controversial ideas. My IA was fairly controversial as well, but I was told that so long as I wrote it seriously and maturely and tried not to impose my own views and biases to the thesis, there was nothing wrong with tackling controversy.(My IA discusses the partition of India being a direct result of Prime Minister Nehru's selfish ambition of wanting to be India's first Prime Minister and not wanting it to be a shared position with Jinnah - who is considered the 'Father of Pakistan'). alefal
Hey there!I agree with Erudite, there are in principle nothing wrong with controversial topics. Just make sure you analyse the topic objectively and write it in a professional manner (both which should be done anyways), and you should be fine.
