Sammy
Hey guys,So far in Biology SL we have done 2 Lab reports (internals). Our teacher says that we might do 1 or 2 more during the year.I was just wondering, how many of the internals are actually going to go towards the actual mark in Biology ? and how many of them are sent to the IB ?Thanks in advance Reply
Tina St
Look you need to have 2 lab reports for each criteria (Design,Data Collection, Data Analysis) so technically you could escape with 3 big ones that include all the criterias. I sent 1 Design in Photosynthesis, 1 in Physiology that was Design,Data Analysis and Data Collection and 1 in Nerves and reflexes that was again the same thing with all criteria. Your teacher should make sure that you cover all the criteria. Overall I have done more than 10 lab reports and it's essential that you do many so in the end you can send your best ones! Also I think there are some hours required to fill in for lab reports so although you might not send some you will definitely keep some back up at the school for a possible IB inspection Hoped I helpedXXX 1 Reply

Tina St
No prob You can always check the IB Biology guide. Our Bio teacher is also our coordinator and I really hate him so I've done much research on my own Reply
