-._._.-
I applied for civil engineering in Bath and I would just like to know your honest opinions (both sides) on Bath before I pick it. Thank you. Reply
ChocolateDrop
I hear it's great for architecture civil engineering and the like. It's usually UK top 10 for civil. I haven't actually been to the university itself, but I've been to Bath. The city is beautiful. It's a mix of urban and rural. You've got the perks of city life as well as the scenery of the country in one place. The buildings are pretty and the Roman baths are awesome. So if location and scenery matters as well as academics, Bath pretty much has it covered. 1 Reply
Beni
I applied to their mechanical engineering courses and put them down as my firm (today, actually). The only downside that I can think of is the fact that housing and general living costs are much higher than the rest of the UK, besides London of course. From the rankings and other stuff I've heard, they seem to be in touch with quite a few firms and industries, which is always good, especially if you're doing a placement.
