TheSstudios
Hi,so I'm new to IB survival and getting to know things. So we just started working on our group four presentations, and we came up with a topic to work with fuels. But are not able to narrow it down. IF you guys have any suggestions, please help me. If fuels is just too much please give me an alternative to work on. My school is nearby a lake and some farms and barren land. A factory is located nearby too. -._._.-
How about comparing the efficiency of different fuels? I'm not sure if that would work or if it is sufficient. Reply
Tanya Malik_124900
I have a question. Is it necessary for us to do something which helps society? I mean, aren't we doing that in our EE already? Reply
cjy
I have a question. Is it necessary for us to do something which helps society? I mean, aren't we doing that in our EE already?Erm no? Haha. Mine investigated the most cost efficient tights. And our EE doesn't have to be something that "helps society". Mine was on why a political party won an election. Whoever's been telling you this is sadly mistaken. Reply
MainRostand
What you say about barren lands and farms close to lake automatically makes me think of eutrophication. But that talks more of the run-off of nutrients from excess of fertilizer rather than fuels. Maybe you could also do something about how different fuels cause different pollution levels to the water and you could use indicator species as something that measures the pollution levels. (you could also include water turbidity, pH, oxygen concentration, etc) Good luck! Reply
