jperl91
Need ideas for what I should write about for this article as well as different graphs I can make. It would help a lotttttI was thinking obviously subsidies and maybe positive and negative externalities but anything specific would helphttp://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/06/opinion/sunday/the-end-of-clean-energy-subsidies.html?_r=0 Reply
dniviE
The first thing I notice when I look at this article is that it is from the "EDITORIAL"-section of The New York Times. This is something you should avoid as it is commenting on the things that have taken place (in this case clean energy subsidies or whatever) instead of simply telling what is going to happen. Also, the article is way too long for a commentary. Therefore I suggest you do the following things: Find a new article that is much more to the point of what is happening (ie tax of good x is to be cut by y amount) that is short (approximately 200-400 words)Clearly identify the economic concepts in the article and then make an outline; include what graphs that you should include (check with your Economics book for reference)If you are still struggling please take a look at this excellent guide to the IB Economics Internal Assessment: and another for the evaluation part of the commentary: Good luck! 1 Reply
