Hey guys, I wanted to write my EE on the applicability of economics on the real world, however, I don't know how to limit my idea, since there is no way I can talk about or examine the entirety of economic theory within an Extended Essay. Any topic areas that you guys believe would be easiest to examine or limit my EE to? Is something as broad as macro or microeconomics reasonable or should I take it any narrower? Any help is greatly appreciated. -

So yeah, May 2021 exams soon... Procrastinated during 2 years. I need tips and mental support for what is about to come. Hello IB economists! I just made an app that includes comprehensive notes for the post-2013 examinations IB Economics syllabus (currently only supporting all SL topics). Hi everyone, I'm in year12 and seeking some advice on my EE choices. I do both german and econ at HL: I currently have a B2 in german, aiming for C1 next summer. Econ EEs seem so hard(my teacher said the ones who don't care about their grades do it) and simply just doesn't interest me, compared to german culture & language, which I would love to research&write about. p.s. i wanna study business management at uni Is a language b ee just too difficult? Do you have any suggestions, experiences or advice? Thank you!

Hi Guys, I am just wondering if I should take Econ or Psych. I wanna go into med and my current subjects (MYP) are Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry and Spanish. I think most my subjects are content based especially Biology and I wanna choose between Econ and Psych and which ever one i can get a higher score in. Saying that, i am in interested in Psych, however do find it heavily content based and then i have biology(i am thinking of going with bio HL). While, econ is okay but i guess it's more logic. So now, i am really confused which one to take cause both have their pros and cons and

URGENT HELP REQUIRED PLEASE I want to do a world studies essay with Computer Science (which I don't study, but will at uni), but I'm stuck. I had planned on crossing it over with economics (one of my standard level subjects) and doing it on the Cambridge Analytica scandal, but my idea doesn't have enough econ in it. I would love it if there are any ideas crossing it over with any of my subjects: Maths HL, Physics HL, Spanish HL, English SL, French SL, Econ SL. I have to get back to my advisor by the end of the week!

In the Economics Paper 2, there are 4 articles and 4 long questions; should I try to read through both the articles and the questions completely during the five minutes reading time? I'm unsure that this is enough time. Should I just read the questions? -

My HL's are Math and Physics, and my SL's are mandarin and lang& lit Math and physics will be difficult but I'm hoping to pull out 6's, however should which should I take at HL Psych or Econ. I know they're both considered easier but which one would be the easiest with my other HL classes Side not I do find psych more interesting but I am also quite bad at writing essays Please let me know which at HL I should take and which at SL Thanks!!

Hey guys! I'm starting IBDP soon and am thinking about taking the following subjects English A (Language and Literature) HL Spanish SL Math SL (Math HL is not an option for me) Business and Management HL Economics HL Biology SL I am 99% sure that I want to pursue a business degree after high school and am currently looking at applying to Canada (UBC, UofT, YorkU). I was wondering if taking both BnM and Econ is a bad decision. Do universities really prefer that you take only one of the two? Even if you want to do your undergrad in business?

Hey guys, Exams are one month away, and I was just wondering, for diagrams do we draw these in pencil or pen? My teacher hasn't really told us specifically how we should draw them.. I was just thinking that if it was in pencil, how would the examiner be able to see it since it gets scanned and the writing lines on the paper are thick.. Thanks

Hey! I am about to start my international trade IA. I am planning to do it on a tariff article. However, I found that for a tariff topic, there does not seem to be much of any other diagrams to include other than the basic tariff diagram. If I am only going to use one diagram in my IA, will I loose marks? Thanks!

So, I just started IB and the classes I've chosen are; HL: Art, Econ, Lang and Lit SL: Spanish A, Environmental Systems and Societies, and Math Studies What I'm worried about is my possible university course possibilities. I'm interested in art, but don't know if it's what I want to do as a job, I'm skilled in photoshop and 3d all that, but I'm wondering what can I actually study in university with these classes? They don't have to be art focused, I would just like to see what possibilities I have. Thank you
