S.O.S - Help with finding domain in interval form

I have a quiz tomorrow, and I am very confused about how to express the domain in interval form, can someone please for example find the domain of these using the interval form?

a)1/(x+2)

b) square root (x-3)

c) cubic root (x+8)

d) 3x-4

e) square root (5-2x)

f) (x-5)/(x^2-3x+2)

g)square root (x^2 -3x -10)

h)x^2 +9x +20

i) 2x+1

j) (x-1)/(x^2+1)

PLEASE! Help GREATLY appreciated!

What I use for practicing the domain is http://www.wolframalpha.com

You can type in your equation and it shows the graph and the domain/range as well as a whole bunch of other information.

Hope it can help you, I think it is great for checking your answers and even showing you the result visually.
