I tried to study the energy changes when a pendulum bob colides with a cart in the floor, but that turned out to be too complex. Now, i don't know where to even start as my classmates are already analyzing the effect of the length of the pendulum string, the mass of the pendulum bob or the amplitude of oscilation.Someone else is doing something related to springs, but it has a lot of uncertainities.What should I try to study?
