Dew
I'm not exactly in the best financial situation and any scholarship that I'm able to get my hands on is a blessing. I've read both on this forum and throughout the web about scholarships but none are able to give me a number. What I would like to know is what do I need to score on IB to get for example a one year full ride scholarship. If there is anyone who has this sort of information, any explanation would be greatly appreciated Reply
Summer Glau
U of T probably won't give you a scholarship based on your IB score, but rather on your percentage grades since you're from Canada. You can get the President's Scholarship of $2000 automatically if you have an admission average of 92% or better. There's also a U of T Scholars award of $5000 for academic excellence (I'm assuming this means very good marks overall and not only the marks in your admission average...) I don't know about engineering-specific scholarships but try reading this: http://www.undergrad.engineering.utoronto.ca/Advising_Support/Scholarships.htm Also apply for UTAPS (U of T's financial aid program). Sadly I missed the deadline so I got nothing from UTAPS but give it a try 2 Reply
